How does an operator add A2A methods for its merchants?
Through providers connected to its payment infrastructure, activated per market and per merchant. On NORBr, A2A methods appear in the operator's branded checkout and follow the same routing, reporting and reconciliation as cards and wallets. Coverage depends on the providers connected for each market, and new ones are integrated on request.

Through connected providers
A2A methods are reached through providers that participate in the relevant schemes: open banking providers, instant payment specialists, or banks offering request-to-pay services. On NORBr, those providers are integrated in the global payment network and activated per market and per merchant, like acquirers and wallets.
What merchants see
- The A2A method in their branded checkout, presented with the right flow for the country: redirect to the bank, QR code, or request to pay.
- The payment in the same transaction record as cards and wallets.
- Refunds, reporting and reconciliation through the same tools.
Coverage and gaps
Coverage depends on which providers are connected for each market. Where a merchant needs a scheme that is not yet in the network, NORBr integrates the provider on request, certifies it and makes it available to every operator. The operator's work is the commercial agreement with the provider and the activation; the merchant's work is nothing. Routing rules then decide when to present A2A, for example above a certain amount or for specific merchant categories, and reporting shows whether customers choose it.
