Every instant payment rail, country by country. Find the rails your merchants' customers pay with, the schemes that connect them across borders, and the settlement systems underneath.
In short
This page maps real-time payment systems around the world, from Pix and UPI to FedNow and SEPA Instant.
It covers domestic instant payment schemes, overlay services built on top of them, real-time settlement systems, cross-border instant links between countries, and central bank digital currency (CBDC) projects. For each system, you will find the countries covered, its type and status, the operator, a link to the official source and a short description of what it changes for payment providers. Each entry shows when it was last verified.
The map is built for PSPs, payment facilitators (PayFacs), ISOs and ISVs who need to know which instant rails exist in a market before launching account-to-account payments, payouts or request-to-pay. Use the filters to narrow the list.
To understand the concepts behind these systems, read the #PayDecoding episodes on instant payments and request-to-pay.
Tell us which countries your merchants sell in. We will look at the rails you need and how to connect them.
