Which data can Claude query?

Claude can query payment analytics for transactions, orders, checkouts and financial operations, within the scope your login already has. It retrieves the specific data a question needs, at the moment it is asked.

What users can do with that data

• Group results by payment method, provider, country, currency, merchant and more.
• Filter by date range and status.
• Compare providers, programs and merchants across the structure their role covers.
• Ask Claude to explain trends in plain language.

Typical questions include acceptance by provider or BIN, the root cause of a spike in declines, the effect of 3DS on conversion by issuer, or settlement totals for a period. Claude can also replay historical transactions to estimate the impact of a routing change before anyone touches production.

Where the limits are

The connector follows your existing permissions. A platform team sees its whole structure, a reseller sees the merchants it onboarded, and a merchant sees its own account only. No other merchant's data is reachable, and the connector is read-only, so it cannot refund, capture, cancel or change settings.

Each request is traced in the audit logs under the user who asked, which keeps the same visibility over data access that you have in the Console.
