Which BNPL providers are used in the Philippines?

Short answer

The main ones are GCash's GGives and GCredit, BillEase, Atome, Home Credit and Maya Credit, along with bank credit card installment plans. Home Credit alone counted 12 million customers in August 2025.

In detail

Installments are the Filipino answer to low credit card ownership. With only 18.5 million credit cards in circulation, lenders and wallets offer buy now, pay later at the checkout, in the app and at the store counter.

The main providers

  • GCash GGives, installments of PHP 500 to PHP 125,000 over up to 24 months, and GCredit, a revolving pay later line.
  • BillEase, which says it has served more than 10 million customers since 2017 and accepts QR Ph payments in stores.
  • Atome, with its PayLater Anywhere Card.
  • Home Credit, the pioneer of in-store consumer finance, with 12 million customers in August 2025 and more than 18,000 partner stores.
  • Maya Credit, from the Maya digital bank.

Many shoppers also use bank credit card installment plans at 0% for electronics and appliances.

What it means for payment operators

For operators serving merchants in the Philippines, installments reach shoppers that cards cannot. Connecting one or two BNPL providers as payment methods, activating them per merchant and handling their settlement and refunds in the same flow as wallets and QR Ph keeps the checkout complete.
