Is #PaymentPeople a ranking?
No. It is a curated reading list of people who regularly share useful analysis on payments. There is no order of merit, and inclusion does not depend on a person's title or employer. The special "Top 20 Voices" editions highlight a selection for a specific event, such as a Women in Payments symposium, without ranking the people in them.

A reading list, not a league table
#PaymentPeople is a curated list of people who regularly publish useful analysis on payments: practitioners, analysts, founders, regulators and journalists. There is no order of merit, no score and no position to climb. Inclusion depends on the quality and regularity of what a person shares, not on their title, employer or follower count.
The special editions
- "Top 20 Voices" editions highlight a selection for a specific event or theme, such as a Women in Payments symposium.
- They are selections, not rankings: the twenty names are presented without order.
- They draw from the same Notion board as the main list.
Why not a ranking
Rankings reward visibility, which favors large companies and frequent posters over people who publish rarely but well. A list organized by topic and region serves the reader better: someone looking for analysis on instant payments in Latin America finds the people who write about it, whatever their audience size. NORBr maintains the list for the industry's benefit; it is not a promotion of NORBr's partners or customers.
