How can someone be added to the list?
Through community recommendations. Readers can suggest a name when NORBr shares a new edition on LinkedIn, and the NORBr team reviews each profile for the quality and regularity of what the person publishes on payments before adding it to the Notion board.

Community recommendations
When NORBr publishes a new edition of #PaymentPeople on LinkedIn, readers can suggest names in the comments or by message. Suggestions are the main source of new entries, which keeps the list anchored in what practitioners actually read rather than in NORBr's own network.
The review
- The NORBr team looks at the person's recent publications on payments.
- It checks for regularity: occasional posts are not enough, the list is for people worth following over time.
- It checks for substance: analysis, data, explanations, rather than announcements or promotion.
- The person is then added to the Notion board, with their topics and region.
What is not a criterion
Job title, company size, follower count, or a relationship with NORBr. Self-nominations are welcome and reviewed the same way. People can also ask to be removed. The list is updated in editions rather than continuously, so a suggestion may wait for the next publication before appearing.
Suggesting a colleague or a competitor is fine; the only thing that counts is whether the person writes things worth reading, consistently, about payments.
