Do our merchants see who provides the alerts?

Short answer

They see Verifi or Ethoca as the source of each alert, inside your branded portal. The NORBr infrastructure behind it stays out of sight.

In detail

Your merchants follow their alerts inside the portal they already use, on your domain and under your brand. For each alert, the source shown is the network that sent it, Verifi or Ethoca. The NORBr infrastructure that receives the alert, matches it to the payment and displays it stays out of sight.

Showing the source matters because it tells the merchant which process applies. An alert from one of these networks means a cardholder has contested a payment with the issuer, and that a refund can still close the case before a chargeback is filed. Knowing where the alert came from helps the merchant and your support team read the case correctly.

What the merchant sees

  • The alert, its status and the network it came from.
  • The card and transaction data it was matched to, with a link to the full payment record.
  • Only the alerts within its own scope, never those of another merchant.

Everything else stays with you as the operator. You see the alerts across all the merchants you cover, filter them by source, status or merchant, and decide how your team supports each case. The service appears as a capability of your platform, which keeps the merchant relationship and the brand experience entirely yours.
