Can a PSP or PayFac offer subscription billing to its merchants under its own brand?
Yes. Subscriptions is a module of the platform you run on NORBr, switched on merchant account by merchant account. Your merchants manage their Offers, subscriptions and subscribers in your branded console, rebills run on the acquiring connections already in place, and NORBr stays invisible. You decide what your team, your program managers and your merchants can each configure.
In detail
Yes. Subscriptions is a module of the platform you run on NORBr, switched on merchant account by merchant account, for the merchants who bill on a recurring basis.
What your merchants see
Your merchants work in your branded console, with your domain, your theme and your menu names. They manage four objects:
- Offers, the billing contracts behind each subscription.
- Subscriptions, with their status, next billing date and payment history.
- Subscribers, with their stored payment methods.
- Retry policies, applied when a rebill fails.
What stays on your platform
Every rebill runs on the acquiring connections already configured for the merchant account and follows the same routing, fallback and tokenization as any other payment. Recurring volume shows up in the same reporting, at every level of your hierarchy.
What you control
You decide what your own team, your program managers and your merchants can each configure, from Offers to Retry policies. A program manager can publish Retry policies that every merchant in its scope starts from. NORBr stays invisible to your merchants and to their subscribers.
