Can a Program Manager or a merchant access Connector Admin?

Short answer

No. Connector Admin is open only to NORBr's integration team and to Meta Program Managers. Program Managers and merchants work with the result: certified providers that appear in their catalog, which they activate per merchant in Payment Stack & Activation and govern with routing rules, without touching the connector itself.

No, by design

Connector Admin is the tool where provider integrations are built and maintained: API mappings, decline code tables, settlement file parsers, fallback behavior, certification tests. It is open to NORBr's integration team and to Meta Program Managers, the operators who run the platform. Program Managers and merchants do not see it.

What Program Managers and merchants work with

  • The catalog of certified providers available to them.
  • Payment Stack & Activation, where methods are activated per merchant.
  • Routing rules, within the limits set above them.
  • Reporting on the providers in use.

Why the separation

A connector is shared by every operator and merchant on the platform. A change to a mapping affects all of them, so it has to be made by people who test it against the provider's sandbox and certify it. Program Managers and merchants need the result, not the mechanics: a provider that works, with its methods available to activate. This is also what keeps the operator's developers out of provider integration work; the integration is done once, centrally, and maintained through scheme and provider changes.
