Zen

Zen is a European payment institution that offers online payment processing alongside a consumer wallet and payment card. Its merchant side covers card acceptance and other methods through an API and a hosted checkout.

For a PSP or PayFac, Zen is an additional European acquiring option for online merchants, useful to spread volume across several providers or to cover merchant profiles that fit its acceptance policy. Running it next to your other acquirers lets you compare results on real traffic and keep alternatives available when one route is unavailable.

From an operations point of view, Zen transactions appear in the same Console views as your other providers, with statuses and refunds handled through one interface. Your team can review its results per merchant, country or card brand and adjust routing when performance changes.

On NORBr, Zen is available as a pre-built connector. You activate it for the merchants that need it, pair it with retry policies and fallbacks, and keep one integration for your whole platform.
