PAY.ON

PAY.ON is the payment gateway platform operated by ACI Worldwide, known as the Open Payment Platform. It gives access to card processing, a broad catalog of alternative payment methods and 3-D Secure authentication through a single gateway API, with acquirer connections in many markets.

For a PSP or PayFac, PAY.ON is a way to reach acquiring banks and local methods already connected to the ACI gateway, which is useful when a merchant segment requires a specific acquirer or a method that is not in your current lineup. It also fits operators that serve merchants with existing PAY.ON contracts and want to keep that processing relationship while moving to a new platform.

From an operations point of view, PAY.ON transactions appear in the same Console views as your other providers, with statuses and refunds handled through one interface. Your team can review its results per merchant, country or card brand and adjust routing when performance changes.

Connected through NORBr, PAY.ON sits alongside the other providers in your stack: you set routing rules by country, currency or card type, and follow its transactions from the same Console as the rest of your merchant portfolio.
