FUGU is a fraud prevention provider focused on the period after checkout. It reviews transactions and customer signals once an order is placed, with tools for identity checks and for building evidence when a dispute is raised.

For a PSP or PayFac, FUGU gives an additional layer of risk control for merchants exposed to friendly fraud, account abuse or high dispute volumes, such as digital goods and online services. Because the review happens after payment, it can complement the controls you already apply before authorization and help your merchants respond to chargebacks with structured evidence.

Your team keeps control of where FUGU applies: you can enable it for the merchant segments that need it, keep other merchants on lighter controls, and review outcomes alongside authorization and dispute data in the same reporting views.
